Introduction
Hi, Ive joined this group to promote and encourage inline skating in South Florida. I've been skating since 1987. Due to my former work and travel schedule have had the opportunity to skate in several countries around the world
Tell us about yourself: where you live, how long you've been skating, where you'd like to skate and when. Let us know if you're a beginner and can skate a mile, or are intermediate, or, advanced and participate in races and/or can skate 100K. Thanks!

I live in Boca Raton, but host one or two inline skate sessions a week from West Palm Beach to Miami. Our 1st Friday monthly skate is the most fun because we are escorted through the streets of Miami Beach by several units of the Miami Beach police.

If you don't want skate alone or you want to improve your skating skills, join the Beach Bladers. We have several skates every month, including some teaching sessions. We are also a very social club with frequent parties and picnics, so join us for a skate and check us out.

  •  Hi Gene
I'm interested in venturing out again and hope that this isn't going to be too fast paced for me - nor do I want to hold anyone up. Can you tell me exactly where you are meeting or give me a phone number so I can get talked in? I'm at 561-251-5801 FYI HG

  •  Hi Gene. The my scrap has not healed yet but it looks a lot worse than it feels. I'm not much of a poster child for learning how to rollerblade. But I'll see you soon at the Broadwalk and on the 8th. I'm looking forward to it.

  •  Hey Gene! I have always wanted to inline skate, but feel shaky - I am in my forties - do you think I can still learn? I live in Boca Raton and just read your posting a moment ago! Nanette
